Use White Lily flour or half all purpose and half cake flour
Mix dry ingredients together. Add butter and shortening, rubbing between fingers to blend into flour. Stir in buttermilk. DO NOT KNEAD.
Spray, butter or oil 9" pie pan. Use scoop or tablespoon sprayed with nonstick spray to drop equal blobs into pans.
Bake 425 for 20- 25 minutes or until light golden.
