Great summer time fare on the grill
Soak a 5-7 inch pc of cedar in water for 30 min to 24 hrs (weigh it down with a brick)
Mix oil, garlic, dill, salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Rub it on the salmon.
Put cedar plank on grill for 5 minutes.
Set grill to low temp. Put salmon on the plank. Let it cook until it is opaque (130F on meat thermometer put in thickest portion of the fillet). Takes 20-25 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
