Suggest a better descriptionsoften yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. heat milk butter, sugar and salt until sugar dissolves. cool to luke warm. stir in 1 cup of flour. beat well. add yeast and egg. beat well. stir in flour to make soft dough. knead on floured surface until smooth and elastic. shape into a ba;;, put into ziplock bag and proof in fridge overnight. divide into thirds. roll into ropes then braid and secure ends. place on greased pan and let it double in size. brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
