Recipe adapted from EveryPlate "Sausage and Charred Corn Chowder"
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a Dutch oven or kettle, cook the pork sausage, jalapeno, garlic, whole kernel corn and onion until the sausage is brown, the jalapeno and garlic is fragrant, the corn is charred and the onion is tender. Salt and pepper before cooking. Drain mixture on paper towels. Return sausage mixture to Dutch oven.
2. Stir in potatoes, water, salt, marjoram, and pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 15 minutes or until potato is just tender.
3. Add the cream-style corn and the milk. Heat through.
4. Serve with sour cream and chives. Enjoy!
