In a 3 quart or larger saucepan, heat1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 small onion (chopped), cook, stirring occasionally, until limp. Add 4 cups of water, 4 chicken bouillion cubes, 1 large peeled tomatoe, add the rice, thyme, chili powder and tabassco sauce. Peel 2 small chayotes adn cut into 1/2 inch cubes; add to soup, cover and simmer until tender (about 20-25 minutes). Stir together 2 tsps flour and 3/4 cup sour crearm. Add to soup, stirring until soup begins to boil. Salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
