Preheat oven to 425.
Place 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt in bowl of electric mixer with paddle attachment. Mix on low for the whole time. Add butter and mix until shape of peas.
Combine buttermilk and egg in a small measuring cup and beat with fork lightly. Quickly add buttermilk mix to flour mix and mix only until hydrated. In a small bowl, mix cheese with a small handful of flour and add cheese to dough. Don't over mix.
Place on well floured surface and knead about 6 times. Roll into a rectangle and with floured knife cut into about 8 triangles. Put on baking sheet with silpat. Brush tops with egg wash and sea salt and bake for 20-25 minutes. I
