In separate bowl, combine egg, sour cream, and cheddar cheese. Mix into dry ingredients.
In separate bowl, melt butter and garlic together until bubbly. Brush muffin tins with butter and spoon in biscuit mixture. Brush tops with butter.
Bake at 400F for 15 minutes. Baste with remaining butter upon completion.
