Cream sauce for cauliflower or any veg
Melt butter, stir in flour till smooth. Add milk and stir till slightly thickened. Add cheese, stir till melted. Add s & p to taste. For a casserole of steamed or thawed and drained broccoli or cauliflower, layer over the veggies and cheese with a mixture of Panko 3/4 cup, and 3/4 cup grated Gruyere. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes till browned.
