Boil chicken broth, 1 quart water, celery, carrots, potatoes and onion together for 20 minutes. Add frozen vegetables, cook until tender. Add soup and 1/2 cup of water and cheese. If desired add sliced hot dogs. Simmer for 30 minutes.
