SIEVE the flour, baking powder and salt together. Add mustard powder, chilli powder, Worcestershire sauce and white pepper powder and mix well. Rub in the butter and grated cheese. Gradually add milk and bind to a soft dough. Knead well. Roll out the dough and cut into two cm thick strips. Take each strip and twist it two to three times. Place each one of them on a well greased tray. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 195o C for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container. NOTES : Makes 12
