Layered ground beef, potatoes with mushroom soup and onion, topped with cheddar cheese! Think "potatoes Au gratin" mixed with a "cheeseburger" in a yummy casserole!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
In a skillet cook chopped onion and garlic until onion is tender and then add ground beef and seasoning; when beef is fully cooked drain the fat.
Combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, ground beef and onion mixture (add more seasoning if desired)
Alternately layer the potatoes and soup mixture in a 2 quart baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 1 - 1.5 hours, or until potatoes are tender. Top with cheddar cheese (as much as you want) and continue baking until cheese has melted.
