2. Place 12 foil cupcake cups in a muffin pan.
3. Place a vanilla wafer in each cup.
4. Combine cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a mixer until creamy
5. Fill each cupcake cup 3/4 full.
6. Bake for 15 minutes.
7. Remove cupcake cups to a rack and let cool.
8. Top each cupcake with 2-3 pie cherries and some syrup.
9. Keep cool until served.
