Brown beef with onion in a large fry pan and drain. Add flour, sugar, seasonings, tomato sauce and peas to fry pan, simmer 5 minutes. Put in a 9x9 baking dish and cover top with crescent rolls. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, cover with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes.
