From Brenda Hunter Martin...Thanksgiving
In a large skillet, over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour to make paste. Quickly add milk, salt and pepper. Cook about five (5) minutes until it thickens (not too thick). Start adding Velveeta and keep stirring as it melts. Be careful as it tends to stick. Add as much cheese as desired, checking consistency. Add green beans and heat through. If desired, add cashews.
