Suggest a better descriptionMelt 1/2 stick butter in baking pan. Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder. Mix well.
Blend milk and 2 tablespoons melted butter.
Stir into flour until moist.
Pour into 13x9 pan.
Combine rest of sugar, undrained cherries in saucepan. Heat. Pour hot mixture over batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
