This recipe starts with cake mix, so it mixes up easily.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Generously grease and lour a 15 ? x 10 ? inch jelly roll pan.
Mix sour cream, water, and eggs. Stir in cake mix until moistened. Batter
will be lumpy. Spread into pan. Drop pie filling by large spoonfuls onto
batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
Sprinkle cake with almonds and drizzle with glaze.
To make glaze:
Mix confectioner's sugar with milk, vegetable oil, and a little almond
extract to taste. Stir in a few drops of milk if necessary to achieve
desired consistency. Stir until mixture is smooth. Drizzle over warm
cake.
This makes a very large amount, so plan to share!
