In a bowl combine the cream cheese and pesto sauce. Stir until well combined.
Place the chicken breasts in a 9 X 13 baking dish.
Divide the cream cheese mixture evenly between the chicken breasts. Spread the cream cheese mixture to cover the chicken.
Top with sliced tomatoes if desired.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the chicken.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest portion of the chicken breast reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.Â
