Easy chicken and dumplings for the crock pot.
Put the onion, carrots, and celery in the slow cooker, followed by chicken. Dot butter on the top.
In a large bowl, mix the two soups, the broth, and the salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. Pour this over the chicken and vegetables.
Cook on Low for 6-7 hours.
Add frozen peas (or corn), stir everything up, and turn up to High. Mix the Bisquick and milk in a large bowl, and drop spoonfuls of the mixture carefully on top, try as much as you can to "float the pieces" of dough (not letting them sink in). The dough will pretty muhc cover the top, with the pieces touching, and that's ok. After you are done with the dough, replace the crock pot lid, but leave the top of the slow cooker at a slight angle, to let the steam escape. Cook on High for 1 hour or a bit more if needed, till dumplings are puffed up and cooked through (they tend to be soft and moist, but shouldn't taste like raw dough). Spoon a couple of dumplings into each person's bowl, and then add the chicken/vegetables/broth on top of that.
