Canned biscuits are the secret to this yummy, comfort soup.
Bring broths and 3 cans water to a boil. Drop flour, quartered biscuits into broth and add butter. Stir frequently. Let dumplings boil for about 15 mins. Add canned milk and shredded chicken. Salt and pepper to taste.
Enjoy!
I sometimes boil 3 or 4 chicken breasts in the broth and about 3 cups of water first. I use that to cook the dumplings in. I also prefer to use 3 1/2 cans of biscuits. The original recipe uses a stick of butter instead of 4 tablespoons.
