Suggest a better descriptionThrough everything in a crockpot and cook on high until chicken is able to shred with a fork easily. Sometimes 2-4 hours depending on types of chicken.
I keep my carrots and celery on the side and add them a little later so that they still have some crunch.
Use pillsbury biscuits to roll balls of dough to make easy dumplings. After chicken is completely cooked and shredded, you can add the dumpling dough. I cook mine maybe 45 mins more after adding dumplings. Amount of dough is really by choice.
