Mix together first 5 ingredients - pour into 9x13 pan. Lay chicken on top. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and paprika over the top. Place in oven at 275 degrees and bake for 2 1/2 hours or until chicken and rice is done.
Brush chicken with butter toward the end of baking.
I usually use only chicken breasts, but if you prefer dark meat, you can use legs or a mix.
