In large casserole, crumble 2 stacks of Ritz crackers and cover bottom of dish. Cut up 1 stick butter over this. Place chicken evenly over the butter layer. Mix soups, sour cream, and mushrooms well. Spread over chicken. Place water chestnuts evenly on top of soup layer. Crumble 1 more stacks Ritz crackers over this. Cut another stick of butter over the crackers and sprinkle almonds on top. Bake at 350? for 1 hour till it bubbles.
