This is a favorite of my husbands.
Combine first 8 ingredients. Pour in 9x13 ungreased pan. Unroll crescent dough and separate into two rectangles. Place dough rectangles over hot chicken mixture. Combine cheese and almonds sprinkle over dough. Drizzle with butter. Bake at 350till crust is a deep golden brown about 25 minutes. P.S I have also put some cheese into the mixture with chicken if you like things cheesy. I also add spices to the chicken mixture if you want to to add a little more flavor. Also you may have to add a little more butter when you drizzle it on top just to make sure its going to brown nicely.
