1. Cut the chicken into 1in squares. Slice the sausage into 1/2in pieces. Chop the kale. Cut the onion into thin wedges.
2. In the slow cooker, combine everything except the sausage and kale. Cook on low for 6 hours.
3. After cooking, add the sausage and kale for about 5 minutes or until sausage is warm and kale is wilted.
