Suggest a better descriptionCut chicken into serving size pieces; wash and towel dry. In a heavy saucepan melt butter; brown chicken pieces. Remove to a plate and set aside. Over Medium heat, add onion and garlic to saucepan and brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1- minutes. Return chicken to pan an simmer for 45 minutes or until chicken is tender. Remove bay leaf and cinnamon stick. Serve with spaghetti or macaroni and grated cheese.
