This was served at one of my bridal showers--it's great for a small meal or a party treat.
Blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of margarine. Add chicken, slat and pepper. Mix well. Seperate crescent rolls into four rectangles. Press together so that the holes are gone. Place 1/2 cup chicken mixture into each pastry. Bring four corners together and twist. Seal edges well. Melt remaining 1 tablespoon of margarine (add more if desired) and brush puffs. Sprinkle with crushed croutons.
Bake at 350-degrees for 20-25 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
(you can substitute 2 5 oz. cans of precooked chicken)
