Heat oil, add chicken and sausage and brown. Remove as done.
Cook onion, celery, pepper for 7 to 10 minutes. Stir in garlic, thyme, salt, cayenne, pepper, bay leaves. Cook, stirring for 1 minute.
Atir in rice; cook, stirring for 1 minute until rice is coated. Stir in broth and tomato paste. Bring to a boil.
Return chicken and sausage to pot. Bring to a boil, stir well. Cover and co tinue to cook until rice is done and liquid absorbed.
Stir in shrimp. Season with salt, pepper and cayenne. Spoon onto plates and sprinkle with green onions and parsley.
