Cook chicken in an oblong backing dish for 6-7 minutes at Power Level 7 with dish covered with wax paper. Season chicken with salt, pepper and garlic to taste
Add mushrooms and cook for add'l 1-2 minutes.
Drain liquid off saving 1/3 cup.
Mix saved liquid with sour cream and mushroom soup.
Spoon over the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes at power level 7 while covered.
Let stand for 5 minutes and serve.
