This is kids favorite chili recipe. It is from Kids Cooking by Williams-Sonoma
Add oil to a pot and heat over medium heat. Add the onion, suttee for about 3 minutes then add garlic and stir for 1 more minute. Add the meat and cook until done. If much oil is present drain. Then add remaining ingredients and lower heat to medium low. Cover and let simmer for 1 hour.
