This con queso is from Casa Ole in Texas and is made in the microwave. If you love Chili Con Queso you are going to love this!
- Saute onion, bell pepper, and butter in microwave bowl, heat to saute
- Add cilantro, mild green chilis, add milk and processed cheese
- Microwave on 80% of power until cheese is melted, stir well
- Add chedder and microwave on 80% of power until cheese is melted, stir well
- Add American and microwave on 80% of power until cheese is melted, stir well
- After cheese is melted add a bit of garlic powder and cayenne pepper, to taste
* If you don't measure cheeses accurately, you might end up with a mixture that is too thick or thin. Add cheese or milk to adjust. Usually, I almost always use 1 lb of proccess cheese.
