This is our family recipe. My Mom would make it once fall started. She always served it with corn muffins or corn bread. Comfort meal!
Brown onion, green pepper and ground meat in 2 quart saucepan. Add tomato soup, tomatoes, paprika, cayenne pepper, bay leaf and chili powder. Simmer about one hour, adding water if mixture gets too thick.
Mash garlic and salt together and stir into mixture. Stir in beans and heat thoroughly. Make garnish with onion rings.
