Suggest a better descriptionHeat the oil in a heavy skillet. When the oil is hot, add the peanuts and fry for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring constantly. Drain. In a food processor, fitted with a metal blade, puree the peanuts and 2 tablespoons of the oil until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and cool. This recipe yields about 1/2 cup.
