The best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (or the best cookies in general)
Heat oven to 350, spray baking sheet.
Beat together shortening, sugars and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs, beat until light and fluffy. Add baking soda and salt first, then flour. Stir in chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool for a bit, and then eat them ALL.
These are seriously the best cookies ever, and I know everyone says that. But make more than you think you need, because you and everyone else will want them!
