Suggest a better descriptionCombine gelatine, cocoa, first 1/4 cup sugar and salt in the top of a double boiler. Beat together egg yolks and milk and add to cocoa mixture. Cook over hot water stirring constantly, until gelatine is dissolved and mixture begins to thicken a little. Remove from heat, add vanilla, and chill the mixture until it is just beginning to set. Beat egg whites until stiff, then beat in second 1/4 cup of sugar. Fold in cocoa mixture and mashed bananas. Turn into serving dish and chill until firm.
