Whisk together eggs, melted butter, cornmeal, vanilla extract and salt. Gradually whisk about 1/4 hot mixture into egg mixture; add to remaining hot mixture, whisking constantly. Pour filling over pecans and chocolate in the pie crust.
Bake at 325 for 55 minutes or until set; cool on a wire rack.
