In a large microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate and butter on High for 2 minutes or until butter is melted, stirring after each minute.
Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
Stir in sugar until well blended.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating with a mixer on low speed, until well blended after each addition.
Stir in vanilla.
Add 1/2 cup of flour, soda and salt; mix well.
Add remaining flour alternatively with water, beating well until well blended after each addition.
Grease and flour the pans; pour batter evenly into the pans.
Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans.
Cool completely on wire racks.
