CG Recipe for Chocolate Cake in a Sheet Pan
Line bottom and spray sides of pan. Pour boiling water over chocolate, stir to melt. Whisk all dry ingredients together thoroughly. Cream butter and sugar until very light. Add egg yolks, one at a time, until well incorporated. Add chocolate and vanilla. Add dry ingredients by thirds, alternating with buttermilk and ending with the dry ingredients. Beat egg whites to soft peaks, fold in gently.
Bake at 350 about 30-35 minutes until tester in center comes out clean.
