1. Melt butter in microwave safe bowl until melted. Let cool.
2. Add browns ugar, vanilla and egg - mix well.
3. Add dry ingredients gradually. Blend well, and pour into cake pan.
4. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
