Mix the butter until fluffy. Add the sugar and mix well. Add the eggs and vanilla until creamy. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, corn starch and baking soda. Add 2 cups at a time to the butter mixture until there is no flour remaining. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts. Using a 2 oz scoop, place cookie dough onto a lined cookie sheet 1" apart. Bake at 350 for 6-7 minutes. Baking cookies longer will result dry cookie. The cookies will look under baked but will set up nice when cooled.
