1. Heat oven to 375.
2. Beat sugars, butter, vanilla and egg in large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in choc. chips.
3. Drop dough by rounded Tbsp about 2 in apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake 8 to 10 mins or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
