Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs and beat well.
In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients, then add slowly to wet mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoon full on cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
