Suggest a better descriptionCream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Fold in rolled oats and chocolate chips (and raisins if desired). Divide dough by spoonfuls to make 24 cookies, or if you prefer tiny cookies (2 per serving) make 48 cookies. Bake at 375F about 7-10 minutes until lightly browned around the edges. Remove from pan, cool and store in a covered container.
