Delicious!!!!!!!!!!
Preheat the oven to 375
Cream the butter with both sugars. If you do not have salted butter on hand, use unsalted and then go a little heavier on the salt. Mix until well combined and there are no chunks of butter. Mix in the eggs and vanilla, and mix until combined. Add the baking soda and salt(remember that if you don’t have salted butter to go a little heavy handed on the salt. Add the flour in increments. If you want the cookies to be flat/ crispy, add the 2 tbsp of flour. If you want them to be a little thicker, only add the 2 cups of flour. Mix until combined. Add the chocolate chips until it looks like there are as many as you think need to be in there. Then add some more b/c you probably underestimated :P(1-1 1/2 cups). Use an ice-cream scoop to put little scoops of Dough on a baking sheet with parchment paper(remember they spread out a LOT during baking, so if you want remotely circular cookies put the dollops far apart). Bake for ~11 minutes at 375(or until golden brown). Remember that they darken a bit once they’re out of the oven and that the amount of flour you use determines the desired thickness. Transfer them to a cooling rack to cool.
Enjoy!
Make sure to use salted butter
