Suggest a better descriptionCream together first five ingredients, mix in vanilla, soda and salt. Next add dry ingredients, one cup at a time. Add one cup chopped nuts if desired.
Chill cookie dough 6-8 hours or overnight.
Roll dough into TBS sized balls, 12 to a cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 350°.
If presentation is important make sure you chill the dough.
