Preheat oven to 325°F. Butter a 2-quart baking dish. Heat milk until it scalds then remove from heat and add in chocolate. Stir until smooth. Mix in the cornbread crumbs and set aside to cool to lukewarm. Add the rest of the ingredients — mix well and pour into the buttered dish. Bake for 50 minutes or so until it sets.
