This recipe was clipped by my Aunt and saved in her recipe book. Chocolate and angel food - a dessert that lives up to it's name. You will like being able to make Chocolate Cream Dream a day before serving.
In a double boiler, melt chocolate over hot but not boiling water; beat in cinnamon and water until smooth.
Beat in egg yolks, one at a time, cook over hot water until thickened. Pour into large bowl and cool 15 minutes.
Whip cream. Beat egg whites until frothy, then beat in sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time; beat until stiff peaks form.
Fold whipped cream, egg whites with nuts into chocolate mixture.
Tear cake into large pieces. Arrange cake pieces in buttered mold (mixing bowl) or shallow pan, Pour chocolate mixture over pieces, reserving 1 cup to frost. Refrigerate 24 hours. Frost with remaining chocolate mixture. Decorate with whipped cream and walnut halves.
