Suggest a better descriptionMelt chocolate and butter in double boiler, cool slightly. Blend in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs one at at time.
In a separate bowl blend dry ingredients, except for confectioners sugar. Add to the wet ingredients.
Chill at least one hour.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Roll dough into balls using a teaspoon full to measure. Roll balls in confectioners sugar to coat generously. Place balls 1 inch apart on cookie sheet.
Bake bake 12-15 minutes until edges are set an tops are dry. Do not over bake cookies. Transfer cookies to a wire rack; let cool. (Cookies will deflate slightly upon cooling.)
Do not use the mocrowave to melt chocolate as it can get overheated. The cookies will come out flat and dense.
