Suggest a better descriptionIn pan, cook pears and sugar in butter 10 min. Let cool.
In casserole dish, alternate layers of bread, pears, and chocolate. In bowl, whisk eggnog and eggs, reserve 1/2 cup, then pour rest over bread. Chill 1 hour.
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Pour on reserved eggnog.
Bake 1 1/2 hours on baking sheet.
