Sift dry ingredients together 3 times. Beat egg yolks until thick, fold in dry ingredients. Beat egg whites stiff, add vanilla and fold into mixture. Spread in a shallow 11x16 pan lined with waxed paper. Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes. Turn out on a damp towel. Remove paper, cut off edges of cake and roll up jelly roll style.
