Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, sugar, and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in milk chocolate pieces. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9-11 minutes Allow to stand 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet; cool completely on
